5to DIA: Dulce o truco! // 5th DAY: Trick or treat!

Eran las 7.30 y ya estábamos en el colegio. Una vez allí, nos llevaron a todos los argentinos al teatro, donde nos dieron una breve explicación sobre que trata Halloween, y también nos mostraron algunos videos. Una vez que termino la charla, volvimos a las clases normales.
Algo que me llamo la atencion, es que el colegio estaba decorado para Halloween, también algunos estudiantes lo estaban.
Como el otro día, todo el mundo me miraba cuando caminaba en los pasillos.
Luego de almorzar, fuimos con Kate, mi host, a un jardin de ninios donde ella va para hacer servicio comunitario. Todos los ninios estaban disfrazados, fue muy divertido. Jugamos algunos juegos y, a la hora, volvimos al colegio y, de ahí, a lo de los Dolehide.
Ya en mi hogar, fue hora de ponernos los disfraces y preparar las cosas para la fiesta que iba a haber después de hacer "dulce o turco" en nuestra casa. Una vez que llegaron todos los invitados, fuimos en busca de dulces, asustando a los dueños de casa.
Una vez que terminamos la excitante búsqueda, fue hora de la fiesta de los Dolehide. Comimos pizza, una pasta riquisima que hizo la duenia de casa, salchichas, papas y demas. En cunato al entretenimiento, jugamos basquet, una tocata de rugby, baseball y cantamos y tocamos canciones. Tambien, mis nuevos padres me presentaron a sus amigos y charlamos un poco.
A eso de las 23.00 la gente se empezó a ir, y ahora estoy acá, las 23.45, muerto de suenio, a punto de irme a dormir.

It was 7.30 and we were in school. Once there, they took all the Argentineans to the theater, where we were given a brief explanation of which is Halloween about, and they also showed us some videos. Once the conversation ended, we returned to our hosts’ regular classes.

Something that caught my attention, was that the school was decorated for Halloween, some students also wear costumes.

Like the other day, everyone looked at me when I walked in the hallways.

After lunch, we went with Kate, my host, to kinder garden where she usually goes to do community service. All the kids had a costume, it was fun. We played some games and then , at the end, Kate and I received some candies. Once this, we returned to school and then , to Dolehide’s house.

Back in my home, it was time to get the costumes and set things up for the party that was going to be after our “Trick or treat” in our house. When all the guests arrived, we went in search of candies, scaring homeowners.

Once we finished the exciting search, it was party time at Dolehide’s. We ate some pizza, a pasta made by the lady of the house, sausages, potatoes and other s. For entertainment, we played basketball, a nice game of rugby, baseball and sang and played songs. Also, my new parents introduced me to new friends and chatted a bit.

Around 23.00 people started going, and now I'm here, 23.45, very tired, about to go to sleep.
